There are a hundred (exaggeration) episodes of movies created using video game footage. Its very interesting and offers another way that users are creating content. Some better than others, and i am curious as to the rights issues, but its certainly worth paying attention to.

Some Ramblings from the Southwest...

Just as a heads up, we tend to forget about the rest of the world. We tend to forget about the rest of America who is not involved on a day-to-day basis with the Internet and who don't live within arms reach of their Blackberries.

I spent the last week in Arizona; Tucson specifically. This was much like the heartland of America, and there were people who are not as web-savvy as the daily people we run into, but they know about user-generated content. They are watching these videos and they are creating these videos. They are people that we should be thinking about when we develop our ideas. Never overlook the average American. if they "get it", then its big.
